There would be so much to ...I agree wholeheartedly. There would be so much to say on the topic. I have just recently learned more about what real obedience is - and it includes obeying right away. <br />I have done pretty much what you suggested before I read your post, because that's the advice you get from most parenting sources who are serious about teaching the right things and yes, the children know what is expected, and they will do it.<br />They know mom and dad are serious and mean it. And they obey the first time. That's it. End of story. Lovingly, we talk to them, and expect obedience the FIRST TIME. It's that simple.
